First of all I would like to congradulate you on such an achievement. What a major accomplishment. Although, my great-grandparents and ancestors were probably the first to trek or traverse through the area. A lot of times my ancestor's summer travel consisted of a journey from Point Hope to Barrow then sometimes even to Canada all unsupported. This was not so long ago that they did this sort of thing. So when you say "The First" Expedition of this kind I really can't help but to feel a little offended. I just want you to think of that. Maybe you could change your wording a little to better support your journey.
Thanks.

What is Arctic 1000?

In June 2006, adventurers Roman Dial, Ryan Jordan, and Jason Geck will attempt the first unsupported trekking traverse of America's most remote wilderness - Alaska's western North Slope and Brooks Range - a distance of 1,000 km (600 miles).
